Wah... I just finished reading the book, Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince. It's quite sad. Even more good people in there dies. It's almost heartbreaking. Who would've thought that Severus Snape
was actually the Half-blood Prince? Funny thing, he actually helped Harry
greatly in his potions. Not to mention teaching some nasty and other useful spells? It sure turned out better than those Occlumency lessons he gave Harry
the year before. Despite knowing that it would probably turn this way, I wasn't prepared at all when I read that Professor Dumbledore
actually died. Moreover, he was killed by someone that most people despise-Snape. Where does Snape's loyalties truly lie? I wonder if there's actually some hidden intrigues. Well, one can only guess what Author JK Rowling has in mind or what she has in store for us readers.Sad enough that students like Cedric Diggory
died, not to mention Sirius Black
, from the Order of the Phoenix, who was Harry Potter's godfather. Well, actually, it started out with quite a lot of deaths, James
and Lily Potter
are such examples. And in this book itself, 3 people die - Amelia Bones, Emmeline Vance and then, Albus Dumbledore. This book is inteed filled with much sadness and intrigue. Who would have thought that Dumbledore would pass on without training Harry
how to duel at the very least? I have to say that not many fans were prepared for this. Another question. Is Harry going to turn out as bad as Voldemort? How would the
Harry-Ginny
, even though the book does say that they separated in the end, and
Ron-Hermione
relationships turn out to be? Hopefully those questions would be answered in the next book. Also, why did Dumbledore stun Harry in the first place? Is he out of his mind? Harry could have done some serious damage alone! Dumbledore probably had a weakness for Draco Malfoy
. By the way, Voldemort gave Malfoy
the task of killing Dumbledore but he sort of whimped out, and Snape had to do his dirty work. Well, nothing much I can do but wait for new developments in the next instalment of the series. Though I wonder, was Malfoy
capable of such atrocity in the 1st place?
Speaking of developments, there are a few thing sthat make the plot pretty good. For one, Ron
finally learned how to kiss. Just Joking! What I mean is that, well, it seems that the Ron-Hermione relationship is becoming more obvious. Like who wouldn't know that there's something going on between them. Jealousy can be so easy to identify. Though I still have no idea why Hermione
had to choose Ron of all people. It also shows that Ginny
hasn't exactly given up on Harry yet. Not many girls I know would actually be able to attain such a feat. Did I say that? Anyway, these are certainly news that would cheer one up right? Or is the news of Dumbledore dying enough to smother these pleasant flames? Who knows what that author has in stall for us, readers next. Anyway, other updates, Remus Lupin
and Nymphadora Tonks are together, Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour
are engaged and Minerva Mcgonagall
is now the temporary Headmistress of Hogwarts. Not much of a surprise there. After all, who else fits the bill? It's just so sad that Dumbledore had to go. JK Rowling needs a telling-off. Such an atrocity, the audacity. It's almost unbearable. How can one do such a thing? It makes me go all emotional. Who will stand with Harry against the forces of evil? Where has our pillar of wisdom and justice gone? Will there ever be another such as He? Who else can show such humour and such immense power at the same time? Who else is as kind as him and yet so almighty at the same time? The master of time, the words of wisdom, the face of truth. Will there be freedom anymore with him gone? All we can do is hope and pray.
